Who we are
A community of curious and open-minded beings who wish to expand and grow together through the practice of conscious breathing.
About breathwork
Breathwork is a dynamic body-mind practice using conscious breathing techniques to create inner peace, enhanced health, wellbeing and personal transformation.
By changing the pattern of our breath we can directly influence our physical, mental and emotional states.
It’s pretty dope to be honest.

Our approach
We intend to take your breath away. Ok pun intended, still we'd love to take you on a breathtaking adventure with us.
Let's be honest – life can be pretty tough sometimes. Learning to navigate ourselves through our vast inner emotional landscape doesn't have to be.
We truly believe getting to know and explore ourselves should be a memorable voyage. Maybe even an exciting adventure. In our breathwork sessions we want to give you the opportunity to go on a unique journey, sometimes from one peak experience to another, while other times you might be invited to lean into the edges of discomfort. Whatever the process might hold, we will be with you all the way holding a safe and loving space for you to soften into the experience. Thus allowing yourself to explore your subconsciousness and experiencing the many magical layers of your being.

How it works
Inner Space Breath is an experiential approach to self-exploration and personal empowerment using breathing techniques to induce non-ordinary states of consciousness and gain access to the unconscious and superconscious psyche. The seemingly simple process combining intuitive movement, conscious breathing, evocative music and other forms of sound, body work, and artistic expression, has an extraordinary potential for opening the way for exploring the entire spectrum of the inner world.
This breath-induced state activates the natural inner healing process of the individual’s psyche, bringing the practitioner a particular set of internal experiences. With the inner healing intelligence guiding the process, the quality and content brought forth is unique to each person and for that particular time and place. While recurring themes are common, no two sessions are ever alike.
Meet the team
Toyah Sitz
Toyah is a systemic psychotherapist (i.T.), body therapist, sex therapist and breathwork therapist by training and by belief. She intuitively senses what’s bothering you – before you know something is bothering you at all – and gently nudges you to take a look. In her work, Toyah unites different approaches to healing, while exploring the duality of taking work serious without taking herself too serious.
As a multi-passionate being with a fervor for personal growth and transformation, she believes in letting curiosity, humor and playfulness lead the way- and in the healing power of cookies. Nothing a ridiculous amount of cookies can’t solve. 🍪
Toyah started teaching breathwork to complement her therapy work, to help people connect to the depths of their subconscious and to sort their shit out.
Gerjet Efken
Gerjet is a health entrepreneur, yoga, meditation and movement teacher, and breathwork therapist that is enchanted by human development rather than shareholder value. He believes that true change comes from within, not from out there. Although sometimes a cold beer and a warm conversation can go a long way.
After years of experimentation with meditation and psychedelics, Gerjet started working with breathwork as it’s the most accessible way to create peak experiences and transformational moments in our everyday life. Also he’s probably the first human being that broke his nose falling off a meditation cushion doing breathwork. Don’t ask.

Yes, yes and yes! We love collaborating with musicians, dancers, artists of any kind, healers, and whatnot. Please send us an email.

We like to start the journey with a short meditation or some intuitive movement to ground and arrive in the space. This is followed by an embodiment practice to release tension, help you soften into the experience and connect to your body. We take a moment to share who we are and how we are to create a sense of community. After sharing detailed instructions on what to expect during the session we safely guide you into your personal breathing journey using various breathing modalities. We use a specifically designed music set to accompany you and help you let go and surrender. We hold a very tight container to let you safely explore your inner physical, mental, emotional and spiritual world.
With the eyes closed and lying on a mat, each person uses their own breath and the music in the room to enter a non-ordinary state of consciousness. This state activates the natural inner healing process of the individual’s psyche, bringing the seeker a particular set of internal experiences. With the inner healing intelligence guiding the process, the quality and content brought forth is unique to each person and for that particular time and place. While recurring themes are common, no two sessions are ever alike.
You’ll decide how far you want to go, we’re with you every step of the way.
Once the journey is over we take time to ground, integrate, share experiences and snacks, and laugh. Yes, breathwork can sometimes feel like hard work, but really, we’re just breathing.

Here are some suggestions and resources to support your integration process.
After the session
Work hard, rest harder. A breathwork session can feel quite a bit like a workout, so drink plenty of water, eat nourishing foods (if you feel like it) and treat yourself to a nice relaxing shower. It's not only grounding and soothing it will help you cleanse your inner system too. Concerning the overall experience: The slower you go the faster you´ll get there. What do we mean by that? Be gentle with yourself. Allow your body to integrate the experience the way you would hold a butterfly in your hand. Soft and gentle. After the session people tend to feel greater sensitivity, openness and vulnerability. Thus treat the experience and yourself with loving kindness. You don't have to make sense of the whole journey right away. If you feel like it, you can give yourself some quiet time to reflect on your experience but sometimes it's also nice to just go to bed and enjoy a proper sleep.
The following days
If you like to go on a little exploratory deep dive, here are a few best practice recommendations that help you weave the magic of the experience into the everyday.
Journal Free flow vs. structured
Questions to journal on: What is one of the main messages you received? What was one of the most memorable feelings you experienced? Where did you feel resistance? Write what you remember of the experience.
Pay attention to and/or write down your dreams
While dreaming you are closest to the place you have visited during the session, your subconsciousness, therefore some interesting stuff might surface in your dreams in the following days.

This technique can evoke intense physical and emotional changes. Controlled, voluntary hyperventilation is the goal of this style of breathwork. Because hyperventilation produces low levels of carbon dioxide in the blood, the process can bring about behavioral and physiological changes, and these changes may be intense. For anyone considering trying this type of breathwork, it is a good idea to discuss possible risks with your healthcare provider before embarking on this alternative practice, especially if you have any of the following conditions:
Cardiovascular disease
Heart attacks, high blood pressure, and angina
Glaucoma or retinal detachment
Recent injury or surgery
Any condition that requires you to take medication
Panic attacks or psychosis
Seizures
Severe mental illness
Aneurysms (or family history)
You are pregnant or are breastfeeding
