Meet the team

Toyah Sitz

Toyah is a systemic psychotherapist, body therapist, sexual therapist and breathwork therapist by training and by heart. She brings the gospel wherever she goes. She mystically senses what’s bothering you – before you know something is bothering you at all – and gently nudges you to take a look. As a multi-passionate being with a fetish for personal growth and transformation, she does take her work seriously but tries to make sure not to ever take herself too seriously by letting curiosity, humor and playfulness lead the way.

Toyah started teaching breathwork to complement her therapy work in drug addiction, to help people connect to the depths of their subconscious and to sort their shit out.

Gerjet Efken

Gerjet is a health entrepreneur, yoga, meditation and movement teacher, and breathwork therapist that is enchanted by human development rather than shareholder value. He believes that true change comes from within, not from out there. Although sometimes a cold beer and a warm conversation can go a long way.

After years of experimentation with meditation and psychedelics, Gerjet started working with breathwork as it’s the most accessible way to create peak experiences and transformational moments in our everyday life. Also, he’s probably the first human being that broke his nose falling off a meditation cushion doing breathwork. Don’t ask.

  • Breathwork can evoke intense physical and emotional changes. Controlled, voluntary hyperventilation is the goal of this style of breathwork. Because hyperventilation produces low levels of carbon dioxide in the blood, the process can bring about behavioral and physiological changes, and these changes may be intense. For anyone considering trying this type of breathwork, it is a good idea to discuss possible risks with your healthcare provider before embarking on this alternative practice, especially if you have any of the following conditions:

    • Cardiovascular disease

    • Heart attacks, high blood pressure, and angina

    • Glaucoma or retinal detachment

    • Recent injury or surgery

    • Panic attacks or psychosis

    • Seizures

    • Severe mental illness

    • Aneurysms (or family history)

    • You are pregnant or are breastfeeding
